New Orders Received
🟢 Pace Digitek secured a ₹494.54 Cr NTPC EPC order for BESS at Nabinagar STPS, with 15-month execution plus 11-year O&M, as a domestic non-related party contract. This adds to an order book that crossed ₹10,000 Cr.
🟢 Bharat Electronics received orders worth ₹1,660 Cr including satellite communication network, electronic warfare systems, and avionics.
🟢 BHEL won an order worth ₹13,500 Cr from NTPC for the 3x800 MW Telangana Stage-II supercritical thermal power project at Peddapalli, with a 62-month execution schedule covering full BTG and civil works.
🟢 NBCC (India) was appointed as project management consultant by the Republic of Seychelles for a $75 Mn affordable housing and infrastructure project funded via EXIM Bank LOC. This is NBCC's second major Africa/Indian Ocean international PMC mandate in recent years, diversifying its revenue geography beyond domestic redevelopment projects.
Partnerships, Investments & Acquisitions
🟢 CMS Info Systems acquired FSS ATM managed services business for ₹115 Cr, adding 8,000 ATM units to its portfolio. This acquisition will increase CMS's managed services portfolio from approximately 31,000 to 39,000 units.
🟢 Healthcare Global Enterprises will strengthen its Nagpur cancer care unit with a ₹98 Cr infusion and is investing ₹253.66 Cr to acquire additional 34% stake in Vizag Hospital.
Core Business & Regulatory
🔴 Bharti Airtel is set to pay over ₹5,000 Cr of a combined ~₹10,000 Cr AGR dues (shared with Tata Teleservices) as moratorium ends. This payment represents the first instalment under a 6-year schedule and accounts for roughly 1/5th of Airtel's total AGR liability, which now exceeds ₹40,000 Cr with accrued interest.
🟢 NTPC added 180 MW solar capacity, with group installed capacity reaching 87,809 MW. At 87,809 MW group capacity, NTPC now accounts for over 18% of India's total installed power generation base.
Economy, IPO & Other
🟢 India will ban Chinese CCTV brands unless certified from April 2026, boosting digital security and benefiting local surveillance tech brands. Domestic beneficiaries include CP Plus, Godrej Security, and Zicom, with India's CCTV market estimated at ~₹8,000 Cr annually.
