🟢 VA Tech Wabag was chosen as the preferred bidder for the Hadda ISTP project in Saudi Arabia, involving design, construction, and operation of a major sewage treatment plant.
🟢 Oswal Pumps secured a ₹180 crore order for supply and installation of advanced pumping systems, enhancing its presence in large-scale irrigation and water infrastructure projects.
🟢 KPI Green Energy secured a ₹129 crore solar power project order under the Independent Power Producer (IPP) model.
🟢 GK Energy bagged two solar EPC contracts totaling ₹530 crore for developing renewable energy projects.
Partnerships & Acquisitons
🟢 Blue Cloud signed a semiconductor development MoU with ConnectM Technology Solutions for EdgeAI SoC aimed at next-generation automotive cybersecurity use-cases.
🔴 Zydus Lifesciences and Sterling Biotech extended the API business acquisition closing timeline to 30 Jun 2026, indicating delayed completion.
Core Business & Regulatory
🟢 KEI Industries commenced first-phase commercial production of LT/HT cables at Sanand, Gujarat. It is a ₹2,000 Cr project that adds 60,732 KMS annual cable capacity.
🟢 LT Foods set up a new Raichur facility for regional rice to produce 30,000 metric tonnes annually with capex of ₹60 mln.
🟢 Kennametal India approved a ₹68 Cr greenfield expansion for its MSG business in India, covering land identification and feasibility work.
🟢 SJVN achieved commercial operation of its 1,000 MW Bikaner solar project worth ₹5492 Cr, enhancing renewable capacity.
🔴 IndusInd Bank received an SFIO inquiry letter under the Companies Act, signaling a potential investigation that may pose regulatory and reputational risks.
Economy, IPO & Other
🔴 A major Amazon Web Services outage disrupted thousands of websites and applications globally. During the outage, apps from Snapchat to McDonald’s ordering went dark, as a DNS defect in DynamoDB’s automation system cascaded across AWS’s us-east-1 region.
🔴 Minister Nitin Gadkari highlighted Delhi air pollution severity, reinforcing urgency for emissions-control policies. Could impact auto, logistics, and fuel segments.
