🟢 Varun Beverages acquired 100% of Twizza Proprietary Limited, which manufactures and distributes its own branded non-alcoholic beverages in Africa
🟢 Craftsman Automation acquired 100% of Suprash Developers Private Limited, involved in real estate and infrastructure development.
🟢 Fortis Healthcare said its arm IHL signed definitive agreements to acquire TMI Healthcare and related hospital assets.
Economy, Sector and Other
🟢 Delhi Government prepared a comprehensive EV policy framework likely to roll out from the next financial year, signalling stronger policy support for electric mobility adoption.
🟢 MakeMyTrip report said millennials and Gen Z accounted for 9 in 10 international trips from India in 2025, aided by higher incomes and remote work.
🔴 U.S. employers announced 1,170,821 job cuts in 2025, putting layoffs on track to exceed Great Financial Crisis levels.
🔴 Indian H-1B visa holders traveling to India for U.S. work permit renewals are stranded after consular appointments were canceled.
