🟢 HCLTech partnered with Carahsoft to accelerate digital transformation for the US public sector, improving access to government customers.
🟢 Mphasis acquired 49% in UK-based Mrald Limited to deepen operational support and digital transformation services for insurance intermediaries and related client ecosystems.
🟢 Genus Power Infra will acquire 86.49% stake in Newlectric Innovation for ₹25.23 Cr, strengthening its push into EV charging and clean-energy adjacent solutions.
Core Business & Regulatory
🟢 Zaggle Prepaid Ocean Services signed an agreement with Forever New Apparels to lease mobile phones for employees, expanding device-leasing use cases in corporate clients.
🟢 Ramkrishna Forgings began commercial production at its aluminium forging facility in Jharkhand with 3,000 TPA capacity, expanding into lightweight forging opportunities.
🟢 Embassy Developments expanded into Mumbai with GDV exceeding ₹12,000 Cr, strengthening its presence in premium residential and mixed-use development pipelines.
Economy, IPO & Other
🟢 The US Supreme Court again deferred judgment on the legality of President Trump’s global tariffs, prolonging uncertainty around US trade policy.
🔴 Danish pension fund AkademikerPension plans to sell its roughly $100 million US Treasury holdings by end-January, citing deteriorating US government finances and rising concerns over sovereign credit quality.
