🟢 L&T secured a ‘Large’ ₹2,500–5,000 Cr contract from Torrent Energy for India’s largest 3,000 MW pumped storage project in Maharashtra, covering design and civil works.
🟢 Oswal Pumps won a ₹119.92 Cr order from Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Limited to supply and install 3,263 solar pump sets under the PM-KUSUM scheme.

🟢 TCS and AMD launched a strategic collaboration. To accelerate enterprise AI adoption by co-developing industry-specific GenAI solutions across BFSI, healthcare, and other verticals.
🟢 360 One WAM acquired B&K to strengthen wealth management expertise, expand its client base. Consolidation happening in India’s wealth management sector.

🟢 BHEL commenced supply of semi-high-speed underslung traction transformers for the Vande Bharat Sleeper Train project, expanding its railway electrification and propulsion equipment footprint.
🟢 Zydus Lifesciences received final USFDA approval for Eltrombopag Tablets, addressing low platelet count conditions in a market with annual U.S. sales of $1.26B.
🟢 Godrej Properties emerged as India’s largest listed residential developer in 2025, with booking value at ₹34,171 Cr and collections at ₹18,979 Cr, reflecting strong demand.
🟢 Indus Towers incorporated units in Nigeria and Zambia to expand Africa telecom infrastructure operations and unlock long-term growth potential beyond the domestic market.
🟢 Indian Oil’s JV Urja Bharat discovered light crude oil in Abu Dhabi’s Onshore Block 1.
Economy, IPO & Other
🔴 India’s December trade deficit widened to $25.05B as goods exports were $38.5B while imports rose to $63.55B, indicating pressure from higher inbound demand.
🔴 Iran extended closure of its airspace amid U.S. tensions, with Air India, IndiGo, and SpiceJet issuing travel advisories due to route disruptions and delays.
