New Orders Received
🟢 Power Mech Projects secures ₹296.44 Cr order from Maha Mumbai Metro Operation Corporation for operations and maintenance of Mumbai Monorail for a duration of 5 years.
🟢 Enviro Infra Engineers received Letters of Empanelment for 2 projects in Maharashtra worth ₹972.19 Cr with 24-month execution under Swachh Bharat Mission. Projects cover Pune and Nashik ULBs, adding 241.60 MLD of total STP capacity across 306 urban local bodies.
🟢 Zaggle Prepaid Ocean Services entered a 2-year agreement with Generali Central Insurance Company for the Zaggle Zoyer Platform. Zoyer is Zaggle's B2B spend management platform; insurance sector adoption signals widening enterprise client verticals beyond BFSI.
Core Business & Regulatory
🟢 AstraZeneca Pharma bags CDSCO nod for Calquence (Acalabrutinib) additional indication covering treatment of previously untreated CLL/SLL in India. India's oncology market is projected to expand by $2.35 billion between 2025 and 2030, growing at a 20% CAGR.
🟢 Anand Rathi Wealth crosses ₹1 lakh Cr in AUM. The milestone was reached on April 10, aided by post-March equity market recovery; FY26 closing AUM stood at ₹93,037 Cr.
🟢 Godrej Properties added ₹42,100 Cr of future sales potential through FY2026 portfolio additions, achieving over 200% of guidance and 59% YoY growth. The company added 18 new projects totalling ~33.32 million sq. ft., more than double its initial ₹20,000 Cr guidance for the year.
🔴 TCS reported its first-ever full-year YoY decline in dollar revenue since its 2004 listing. FY26 dollar revenue stood at $30,017 million, a 0.5% YoY decline and 2.4% decline in constant currency terms.
🔴 TCS reacted to the Nashik sexual harassment probe confirming employees are being investigated and suspended, with 6 employees and 1 HR official arrested and ~9 FIRs filed.
Economy, IPO & Other
🔴 Cigarette sales fell 3-5% in March and continued to fall further in April, with the steepest decline in East India (ITC, Godfrey Phillips). The decline follows the February GST hike from 28% to 40% and an additional excise duty effective February 1.
🟢 RBI proposes asset size of ₹1 lakh Cr for NBFCs to be classified as Upper Layer.
