🟩 Reliance Industries will build and lease a 168 MW AI data centre in Jamnagar to Meta, its first such facility in India, delivered within 2 years.
🟩 NTPC will float a tender exceeding Rs 10,000 crore for its Rajasthan nuclear plant, with the notice inviting tender expected around June 15. The package sits within the Rs 42,000 crore Mahi Banswara 4x700 MW project with NPCIL, NTPC’s entry into nuclear after first concrete was poured in March 2026.
🟩 Concord Biotech received USFDA approval for its tofacitinib tablets in 5 mg and 10 mg strengths, addressing a US market worth about $500 million. The arthritis and ulcerative-colitis drug marks Concord’s push from fermentation-based APIs into finished formulations.
🟩 Astra Microwave’s board approved demerging its space, meteorology and hydrology business into wholly owned Astra Space Technologies, a unit contributing Rs 157 crore or 13.58% of revenue. Shareholders receive one Astra Space share for each held, with separate listing targeted by Q1 FY28.
🟩 Zepto doubled FY26 operating revenue to Rs 22,623 crore ahead of its IPO. Net loss widened 26% to Rs 5,905 crore. Per-order loss nearly halved to Rs 78.75 from Rs 136.15.
🟥 Natural rubber prices climbed to a record Rs 267 per kg on global supply disruption and tight domestic availability, raising input costs across the tyre industry. Rubber is roughly a third of tyre raw-material cost, so the spike squeezes margins at MRF, Apollo Tyres and CEAT.
🟥 India’s net equity mutual fund inflows fell 40% month-on-month to Rs 22,908 crore in May 2026 from Rs 38,440 crore in April, the lowest in 2026.
