🟢 HBL Engineering secures ₹83.81 Cr Kavach order from Patiala Loco Works. Order covers Kavach Version 4.0 supply, testing, and commissioning. HBL’s cumulative Kavach order book now exceeds ₹3,860 Cr.
Partnerships, Investments & Acquisitions
🟢 BEML Limited signs MOU with Delhi Metro Rail Corporation for strategic partnership to jointly bid for metro rail projects in India and abroad.
🟢 Ashiana Housing acquires 28.55 acres of land in Pune for a senior living project with saleable area of 20 lakh sq ft and potential sales value of ₹1,800 Cr. The company’s largest-ever land acquisition.
Core Business & Regulatory
🟢 Eicher Motors launches Flying Flea C6 electric motorcycle priced at ₹2.79 lakh (ex-showroom), with test rides from April 10 and deliveries starting end of May 2026. Royal Enfield’s first EV in its 125-year history.
🟢 Glenmark Pharma receives US FDA approval for Progesterone Vaginal Inserts 100 mg, a generic for Endometrin with annual US sales of approximately $59.2M. The drug is primarily used in IVF and fertility treatments, a US market growing at over 5% annually.
🟢 Castrol India launches full synthetic engine oils for two- and four-wheelers including Castrol Activ 10W-30, 5W-30 and GTX 5W-30, 0W-20. The transition brings full synthetic technology to mass-market segments for the first time.
🟢 Apollo Micro Systems completes successful blast trials for limpet mines, becoming the only Indian company to develop this product for the Indian Navy. The milestone makes AMS the sole provider of India’s full underwater mine spectrum, shallow to deep water to limpet.
🔴 HDFC Bank has large defaulter dues of ₹54,315 Cr with 4,914 recovery cases pending as per CIBIL TransUnion data up to February 2026.
Economy, IPO & Other
🟢 Centre to provide up to 200 metric tonnes/day LPG (sector-wide cap) to ceramics, pharma and specialised industries at 70% of pre-March 2026 consumption levels.
🔴 Steel companies raise HR coil prices by ₹3,500/tonne to approximately ₹64,500/tonne this month; cold-rolled coil prices to also rise ₹3,000 to ₹68,000/tonne.
