New Orders Received
🟢 Antony Waste Handling Cell’s subsidiary AG Enviro Infra Projects won two BMC municipal solid-waste collection and transport contracts worth ~₹1,330 crore, plus a ₹67 crore Thane MSW pre-processing DBOT concession.
🟢 Bharat Electronics has secured additional defence orders worth ₹596 crore since its last 1 Jan 2026 disclosure, including drone detection, jamming systems, communication terminals etc.
🟢 Larsen & Toubro secured an Indian Army order to overhaul and upgrade Pinaka multi-rocket launcher systems, creating lifecycle-based support.
🟢 Astra Microwave Products’ JV (Astra Rafael Comsys) secured a ₹275 crore order from Indian Air Force for MiG-29 SDR integration, NCO installation, and 24 LCA Mk-1A SDRs.
🟢 Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL) received LOA from East Coast Railway for ₹201.23 crore wagon POH workshop at Kantabanji, Odisha. With 200-wagon capacity and 18-month execution.
🟢 Power Grid Corporation was declared successful bidder under TBCB for a 400 kV D/C transmission line project traversing Karnataka for grid strengthening
Partnerships & Acquisitions
🟢 Bharat Forge signed MoU with Germany’s Agile Robots for AI-driven robotics and automation in civilian manufacturing (auto, electronics, healthcare, logistics) targeting India & SE Asia, enabling “dark factories”.
🟢 Fortis Healthcare aims for 3,200+ bed addition by 2030 via organic/inorganic growth, pursuing acquisitions like Bengaluru’s People Tree Hospital (₹430 Cr, +175 beds) and hospitals in Punjab. This boosts occupancy and medical tourism.
Core Business & Regulatory
🔴 Reliance Industries said it awaits clarity on access to Venezuelan oil for non-US buyers and will consider purchases only in a compliant manner
🟢 BHEL commenced supply of indigenously developed IGBT-based underslung traction converters for Vande Bharat Sleeper trains from Bengaluru to Kolkata; supports 160 kmph speed.
🟢 PTC Industries subsidiary Aerolloy installed a 600 tonnes-per-annum Plasma Arc Melting furnace in Lucknow, enabling high-precision alloys for aerospace and defense.
🟢 Eimco Elecon board approved purchase of 35,056 sq m land for about ₹47.3 Cr, supporting capacity expansion and long-term manufacturing footprint.
🔴 Delta Corp said its unit will discontinue operations at Zuri White Sands Goa resort, reducing hospitality exposure.

🔴 Finance ministry plans to scrap restrictions on Chinese firms bidding for government contracts, potentially increasing competition for domestic players.
