🟢 Ramky Infrastructure received an EPC contract for Dighi Port Industrial Area from Maharashtra Industrial Township Limited (MITL) with a total contract value of ₹1,401.84 Cr.
Partnerships, Investments & Acquisitions
🟢 Salzer Electronics signed an MOU with Wirepas to expand smart metering portfolio and integrate Wirepas certified platform for next-gen metering solutions.
🟢 MRF signed a non-binding MOU with Tamil Nadu Government for a Greenfield tyre manufacturing facility with an estimated investment of ₹5,300 Cr over 12 years expected to create 1,000 jobs.
Core Business & Regulatory
🔴 InterGlobe Aviation cancelled over 500 flights to Middle East due to airspace restrictions and is continuously monitoring revenue environment and flight schedules.
🔴 Apollo Hospitals, Fortis Healthcare, and Max Healthcare could see revenue hit due to Iran war as 30-50% of international revenue for top hospitals comes from the Middle East.
🔴 MRPL, Petronet LNG declared force majeure on all gasoline export cargoes in March and April. Force majeure allows companies to avoid fulfilling export contracts because events beyond its control have made performance impracticable.
🔴 Fino Payments Bank’s MD & CEO Rishi Gupta was arrested for GST evasion allegations involving third-party program managers and interim leadership was assigned to CFO Ketan Merchant.
🟢 Escorts Kubota launched a new ‘South Special’ paddy tractor series, introducing Shaurya, the first dedicated paddy-focused range under the PowerTrac brand.
