🟢 Info Edge acquired a 20.53% stake in Akshamaala Solutions Unnati, a fintech-based agri platform focused on distribution, aggregation and farm financing.
🟢 CEIGALL India announced plans to acquire 100% of Velgaon Power Transmission, adding a power transmission asset to its infrastructure portfolio.

🟢 Panorama Studios secured pan-India theatrical rights for the film Ranger, strengthening its content pipeline and distribution-led monetisation potential.
🔴 Shree Cement said the Ministry of Corporate Affairs ordered an investigation under Section 210(1)(c) of the Companies Act, raising governance scrutiny.
🔴 Mangalam Cement said Rajasthan rejected its limestone block bid despite it being declared preferred bidder earlier.
Economy, IPO & Other
🟢 India plans a nationwide survey to map textile hubs and assess sector health, which could guide targeted policy support.
🟢 India to soon launch Drone Shakti Mission, signalling policy push for indigenous drones across defence, logistics and civilian applications.
🟢 Gujarat plans to develop 5 satellite towns by 2030 to reduce city congestion. Sanand, Savli, Kalol, Bardoli and Hirasar will be developed with with metro‑like infra, electric public transport and mixed‑use hubs.
🟢 Transport Ministry proposed an Aadhaar-like unique number for EV batteries to improve traceability, recycling compliance and lifecycle accountability across OEMs.
🔴 Cement prices increased ₹20–₹30 per 50-kg bag across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
🔴 India may see smartphone and laptop prices rise 20–30% in 2026 as RAM shortages tighten supply chains and push up component costs.
🔴 U.S. President Donald Trump said tariffs on India could be raised if India does not help address concerns around Russian oil.
🔴 Venezuela crisis escalated after U.S. said Nicolás Maduro was captured in a military operation.
🟢 China now accounts for about 27% of global patent applications, highlighting sustained innovation intensity and long-term competitiveness in advanced industries.
