New Orders Received
🟢 BEL bagged ₹6,795 Cr in defence orders since its March 30 disclosure, covering mountain radars from MoD, LCA avionics package from HAL, and a major export order for communication equipment, taking its total order book to ₹74,000 Cr.
🟢 Zaggle signed a 5-year deal with Fanuc India focused on employee expense management and benefits solutions.
🟢 Oriana Power (TrueRe Oriana) secured a ₹3,135 Cr green ammonia offtake deal with SECI under the National Green Hydrogen Mission. The agreement covers supply of 60,000 tonnes of green ammonia annually at ₹52.25/kg over 10 years, with SECI as intermediary and Madhya Bharat Agro Products as end off-taker.
🟢 J. Kumar Infraprojects won an NHAI EPC order worth ₹2,360 Cr for a 32.18 km, 4-lane (expandable to 8-lane) expressway connecting NH-48 to the upcoming Vadhvan Port in Maharashtra
Partnerships, Investments & Acquisitions
🟢 Jubilant Foodworks renewed its master franchise agreement with Domino’s Pizza International Franchising Inc for exclusive rights to operate Domino’s in India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh for 15 years.
🟢 Tube Investments acquired full control of Tivolt EV, investing ₹30 Cr to make it a wholly owned subsidiary. Aligned with their EV two-wheeler and three-wheeler expansion roadmap.
Core Business & Regulatory
🟢 DCM Shriram fully commissioned its 52,000 TPA Epichlorohydrin plant at Jhagadia, with the balance 17,000 TPA operational from April 1. It is one of very few domestic producers of epoxy resin precursor.
🟢 Welspun Living announced partial commencement of commercial production at its Nevada pillow manufacturing unit, with US$13 million capex approved for home textiles expansion.
🟢 Adani Ports crossed the 500 million tonnes cargo milestone and remains on course for 1 billion tonnes by 2030. Targeting a double-digit volume CAGR.
🟢 United Breweries launched Kingfisher Smooth Strong premium beer in Maharashtra, entering the fastest-growing premium strong beer segment where rivals Bira 91 and Carlsberg India have been gaining shelf share.
🟢 Lupin received tentative approval from the US FDA for Sugammadex Injection, a generic of Merck’s Bridion in a $500+ million US market with limited current generic competition.
Economy, IPO & Other
🔴 Govt cancelled the auction of 11 critical and strategic mineral blocks in the sixth round due to poor investor response and lack of qualified bidders
🟢 India's March 2026 gross GST collections rose 8.8% YoY to ₹2,00,064 Cr
🔴 Commercial LPG prices hiked effective April 1. The price of 19 kg cylinder rose ₹195.50 to ₹2,078.50 in Delhi.
